Let's face the facts; car maintenance isn't usually a favourite pursuit for the majority of car owners.
At one point, air conditioning was considered a luxury vehicle feature that many did not have.
However, a large proportion of vehicles are now fitted with air conditioning or climate control as a standard vehicle specification.
Like any other component, this part of your vehicle suffers from normal wear and tear and so maintenance is essential to ensure the continued optimum performance of your air conditioning system and to remove any unpleasant smells.
Many consumers do not realise their vehicle's system should be recharged at least once every 2 years and, as an air-con recharge does not makeup part of a general service, if your vehicle is more than two years old, it's potentially the case that you require an aircon recharge now.
We now can service your Vehicles Automatic Transmission with Our Brain Bee ATF Fushing Machine.
Until a few years ago, carmakers used to prohibit maintenance operations on the gearbox oil.
Now they recommend it every 60.000 km as part of the routine maintenance.
The number of vehicles with automatic transmission is growing exponentially.
Many gearbox malfunctions can be solved with a cleaning operation, oil change and parameters reset.
This process can be achieved simply, provided you have the appropriate equipment.
How do I know if my clutch needs replacing?
Well in this blog we look at how the clutch works and what signs you might see, hear and feel that could point towards your clutch needing replacement.
A clutches job is to transmit engine power to the gearbox, where in turn, this will transfer the power to your road wheels.
When a car is moving under power (clutch pedal released), the clutch is engaged.
Power from the engine in transferred to the engine flywheel causing it to spin.
The flywheel then spins the clutch plate.
No - if it's flashing while you're driving.
Avoid heavy acceleration and high engine speed.
Stop the vehicle when it's safe to do so.
Restart the engine after 2 minutes to reset the engine management system.
If the light's still flashing, turn off the engine and contact us to report your breakdown.
Get a garage to check the engine soon to avoid damaging the catalytic converter or diesel particulate filter.
Cars have lots of sensors to check if everything's running smoothly.
If there's a problem, the sensor will tell the engine control unit (ECU) which will turn on the engine management light.
