Founded in 1977 with Brothers Steve and Martyn Greenwood, Martyn left within a few years and Ian Roper joined in 1980 after working at agents VW, Vauxhall and Land Rover.
The garage was originally based in Thornton Lodge, untill 1990 when DIY firm Wickes wanted the land that housed Greenwoods garage and Earnshaws motorcycles for there new store.
This gave Greenwoods garage the perfect opportunity to have there own purpose built workshop and MOT centre built in Lockwood, Huddersfield.
Over the past thrity years we have built a reputable customer base carrying work for the public and small business alike.

Greenwoods Victoria Garage is fully equipped with the latest computer technology to perform a MOT test in line with current legislation, Our MOT's are carried out by Technicians who are authorised by the Ministry of Transport.
The Vehicle and Operator Services Agency (VOSA) regulate the MOT programme, which means all vehicles that are three or more years old require an MOT to be carried out annually that looks at the safety of your car and at its emissions.
The test covers many different areas: from lights, to emissions, to seatbelts, to brakes - many of the things that would compromise your safety or the environment.
